Buy gold, ultimate edition is just gold with 2 extra armor set and skin for the horse from the deluxe edition. The deluxe version is not worth it so much IMO - you get tons of skins/weapons normally in the game and don't really need to pay the extra money for these very specific vanity items.
Odyssey is in my top 3 pc games of all time. Still playing it. I get in Origins every now and then and it's a great game but it's not Odyssey. I made it through about 70% of Valhalla but got bored with it. It seemed like it went downhill after leaving Norway. Assassin's Creed Odyssey should have just been called Odyssey because that's what it is. I really want to buy the game but not sure I want to drop 130$ up front. Just wait for the Christmas sale. I got mine on autum sale Gold Edition was like ÂŁ60 total. Well it's a single player game, so if u want enrich ur game experience, DLCs are almost a must. Besides, DLC clothes and weapons looks good and stronger than normal weapon.

If you liked Origins you will definitely enjoy the DLC's. Both are great imo. If you can get it on offer it’s is. First one not that great but loved curse of the pharaohs it’s a good twist on the normal assassins creed story telling. Plus you get to play more Bayek. Very much so. Season Pass = DLCs. IMO it's worth it. I like the logic. Not worth 10 extra dollars when it has the same amount of content as previous Assassin's Creed games, nothing justifies 2 expansions & extras that's included when the main game is $60 & 20 times longer then both expansions combined. wait until it's on sale.
Get either edition, but I know if I could go back id get the Gold. It’s worth every penny. Lots of folk in the r/assassinscreed community really like Origins. I’ve noticed even many of the fans who say they hate the RPG style will say “but Origins was fine” while trashing the other two games hahaha And the reason why, mainly, is because
