This is the pillar: This is the pop-up box: Inside the level: The currency is dust bunnies: every few hours dust bunnies hide in your furniture and can be tapped. It can be used to buy chests to get furniture which increases the dragon home power.

I know perfectly well about tier 2 nests and losing a little of power before creating tier 2 dragons. I lost more than 7k dragon power. It looks like a big lot of camp dragons got stuck as a "Temporary Object" (a yellow floating cloud with a square). It has a dragon name, 0 dragon power, and 1 of them has 10 (ten) out of 0 (zero) stamina.
Dragon Power is accumulated by creating and leveling up Dragons and Mystic Topiaries in your Camp. Dragons can have as little as 1 Dragon Power (most level 1 Whelps of Standard Dragon breeds) and as much as 15,000 (most level 10 Trophy Dragons). The Topiaries will net you from 2 to 10,000 Dragon Power.

Just like coins, higher-level dragons are worth more dragon power than the sum of the dragons used to create them. This leads to two different strategies for buying dragons. The "stick with Crimson Dragons strategy is the best. Strategy 1: Obtain 2 Level 4 Dragons of 5 Different Varieties (plus extras due to merging in 5s).
