Punto almost as good as Fiesta in 20-80 and far better in 40-100 yet Punto is sluggish and Fiesta is sprightly. Punto is better then Logan in 20-80 and smokes it in 40-100 yet Punto is sluggish. The difference in 0-100kmph seems a little huge. Can a 50kgs lighter car actually be that much faster? Fiesta does it in 17.13 while Punto does it in
Hi all, I recently bought a 56 plate punto grande from a local garage, visually the car is sound, with good low mileage. The only problem being was a big gash in the front near side alloy, although i wasnt too worried as they're cheap enough to replace.
It would also hold 3 suitcases if they aren't huge (like some of the students brought). I'd advise getting the diesel version if you do choose the Punto. It's powerful enough, and seemed to get good gas mileage. Just back from Italy and rented the Fiat in question and we packed two 26" suitcase in the luggage area.

The 1.1 Stile, well, that car is woefully underpowered, except for the 3rd gear which saves it to some extent. But the Punto 1.2 is way better than either of those cars. Handling/Suspension/Steering - The talking point of the Puntos. Part of the reason why I feel the Punto 1.2 is a decent drive is because of its agility. Fiat Grande Punto and Fiat Punto Evo have far more advantages than disadvantages. Impressive spaciousness and very good value for money. In short, the Fiat Grande Punto is an interesting proposition for those looking for an exceptional urban soul car for a small price. Fiat Grande Punto - stunorthants26 : I have been tempted in the past to buy an Alfa 156 and a GrandePunto but in both cases the dealers were so dis-interested that I could never havegiven them my money. No matter how good the car Fiat need to sort theirdealers out!
Fiat Punto reliability. I'm considering a 2007 Fiat Grande Punto 1.2 Dynamic (Petrol) with 30,000 miles on the clock for my first car, due to its fairly good looks, low insurance group and low price (£4,500). However Fiats have a reputation for being unreliable- is this reputation deserved or should I avoid the Grande Punto altogether?
With Fiat's dependable and economical 75 bhp 1.3 16v MultiJet engine, a 1.0 m3 load capacity and the stunning good looks of Giorgetto Giugiaro's iconic car design, the Grande Punto Van balances head-turning style with load-bearing practicality.
This final 2012-2018-era Punto was a car that needed no apology, no 'Grande' or 'Evo' preface to its name, no desperate dealer offers. Once again, it was sold simply as a 'Fiat Punto' and was at last the kind of car you'd expect two decades of development to have been able to create. Ought this Fiat to feature on your shopping list of used
